Greerton Bible Church

Donations

Greerton Bible Church is funded through donations given by the people of the church.  These funds are used to support the ministries and administration at Greerton Bible Church as well as supporting a number of international mission initiatives.  The financial operations of the church are managed by the Treasurer who reports to the Administration Team, the Elders and a qualified independent Accountant.    Our accounts are subjected to annual audit.  Partners may request a copy of the latest audited financial statements from the Treasurer. 

Contributions to the church are tracked in a confidential system and receipts are issued at the end of each financial year and can be claimed as a donation back from the Inland Revenue Department.

We encourage people to set up automatic payments to contribute towards the running of the church.  These forms are available from the church office.  Contributions can also be made by cheque or cash in the offering bags at the Sunday morning service.    Automatic payment gifts are issued with tax receipts.  However, if you are paying by cash or cheque and would like a tax receipt, please use the giving envelopes provided from the foyer.   

Serving

Our volunteers are a key component to ensure our services operate effectively and efficiently.  We have a roster system in place for people to serve others in roles on a Sunday and this is a great way to get involved and to meet people.      This roster is administered by the Administration Team.  If you are interested in knowing how you can serve at Greerton Bible Church, please enquire at the church office.
